BRITISH PUB

A British pub, is considered to be a public meeting place. Many will meet after work
 or for lunch or dinner. Some single people like hanging out at the pub, often referred
 to as their "locals".Some pubs have music, live bands etc. 

PUB GRUB

In a British pub beer, cider, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are served. 
Traditional meals would be:
- Fish and chips ( french fries) with garden peas
- Bangers ( sausages) and mash ( mashed potatoes) with gravy
- Gammon ( ham) with eggs and chips ( french fries)
- Jacket potato ( a potato in its jacket with cheese and bacon or other meat 
  filling )
  Toad in the hole ( Sausages in a Yorkshire pudding batter)
- Shepherd's pie ( mince meat base and topped with vegetables and mashed potatoes)
and many more.
The pub is quite a wonderful meeting place!
