WHAT CAUSES DEHYDRATION

  The weather is warm and it is a beautiful day. You decide to go on a picnic and walk some nature trails. In a dry climate like the desert, dehydration may go unnoticed for many hours. In humid weather, sweating is obvious. This however, is not the case in a climate with low humidity, like the desert. Loss of body fluids through sweating, is subtle and can be ignored until symptoms such as severe headache , muscle  weakness and fatigue, set in. The image above, shows simple , but effective ways to avoid dehydration.

WHEN FOOD MAY NOT BE ENJOYABLE

Type 2 Diabetes can  be avoided. let us try to understand Diabetes . Always seek medical advice if help is needed. We all love to eat, Sometimes when food is tasty, one may overdo eating. Some people eat and see food as nutrition, while others just eat carelessly , without considering the consequences. Hardly ever do we stop to think that something as good as food can also cause problems. Overeating can be detrimental , especially if it is rich food.   Exercise can be viewed as something awful. Careless eating as well as lack of exercise, may be a recipe for disaster. Diabetes or obesity may ensue. Helpful suggestion: enjoy good food, but also avoid too much. Food addiction may very readily be fatal. What went wrong? Good food is always enjoyable. It is unfortunate that eating  may be overdone !

MUSHROOMS ARE SPECIAL

 So, you love eating out and enjoying fine dining.  One of your favorite foods is mushrooms. But have you ever stopped to think about where they come from? Typically mushrooms are known to grow in dark and  damp conditions. Mushrooms belong to a group of   foods  called fungi. Yeast is also part of this group. It is however important to know which mushrooms are suitable for eating and which ones are  poisonous .                                                                                                  Mushroom picking
